1. Make sure dough hook is in the breadmaker.
2. Add wholemeal flour, plain four to the breadmaker pan.
3. Put the bicarbonate of soda in 1 corner.
4. Put salt in another corner.
5. Pour the buttermilk in the middle on top.
6. Using the rapid programme start the machine. Mine takes 1 hr 50 minutes,.
7. After about 5 minutes check the machine and carefully scrape down the sides then lout dough on top of other & let machine run..
8. When machine has finished carefully turn out take dough hook out and leave to cool before slicing..
